Hi hi, my name is Esmirna, and I am the founder and creative director here at

TO LOVE AND TO DISCO 🪩🏹🥂.


As a creative in the digital marketing/social media space since 2011, I am incredibly skilled in capturing captivating content (say that three times fast!) that immediately grabs the attention of an audience, including brands that I’ve had the pleasure of working with throughout a decade.


My eye for authentic and carefully curated details are what really drive my creativity. I pay attention to the little things that make a difference, love proposing ideas, taking initiative, think outside the box, and deliver in a timely manner.


Even though it’s been a long time since I got married, I am a total sucker for all things love and parties- I wish I was able to re-live my own special day over and over and document it as I would today. I would be honored to capture the same for you to always look back on in the future.

I worked with local flower shop owner, Natalie Gill, to put together content for her wedding in 2022 (her wedding had already happened when I created this). Her photographer/videographer captured all of the

content, while I gathered all of it and this was the result. I focused on telling her story, from the small details such as invitations, to guests jumping in the hotel pool at her reception.

FAQ’S

What makes me different than other creators?

As mentioned in my “About Me”, I have been in the blogger/influencer space for well over a decade, as well as on the other side of it (influencer marketing). Because of years of experience, I have an eye for capturing all of the amazing details, a great sense of what is visually appealing, and always in on the trends. I enjoy brainstorming about what you’d like for your day, as well as provide a variety of options for you to choose from. I prioritize open communication and dedicate my time, as well as bring my passion for weddings and content to the table, always!

Do I replace a photographer and/or videographer?

No! We work together with your photographer(s) and videographer in order to ensure a smooth documentation of the event. The content I provide is shot on an iPhone and is not meant to replace professsional images. Think of me as the person who captures all of the content you will be posting on social media, plus a lot of behind-the-scenes, and in-between moments so you and your guests can fully enjoy the experience instead of trying to get content the entire day!

What is the entire process like?

What do you use to shoot content?

I use an iPhone 14 Pro, usually on a gimbal to ensure your content is as crisp and smooth as possible. I also come prepared with portable phone chargers, and selfie/ring lights for all those cool night shots!

Do you travel?

YES! While I am based in San Diego, I also love to travel to capture content wherever possible. After deciding on a package, we will then factor the cost of travel and accommodations, then create a customized package just for you.

Do you shoot anything else besides weddings?

Absolutely! Although my main focus is weddings, I have put content together for Quinceañeras, Sweet 16's, and more.

From welcome dinners to bachelorette parties, I can branch out to anything else you may have in mind.

Once an inquiry is made and availability confirmed, we’ll have an initial call in order to get to know you/your vision better. A contract & invoice will be sent, and that’s it! You can send over any inspirational images, trends you’re loving throughout this time. Around 4-6 weeks out from your event, I will send a questionnaire over with last-minute questions I may have and schedule a final call together. On your big day, I will be coordinating with your photographer/videographer in order to capture as much dreamy content as possible. You will then receive your content 24-48 hours later (depends on your package).
